I'm writing this as a warning. My online shopping experience was a complete disaster, and I feel compelled to share it so others can be cautious. After weeks of waiting for a package that never came, I was left fighting for my own money back. To be blunt: GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. $246.00 they have of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on 2/24. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia. I can't get a response for a refund all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I WANT MY MONEY BACK! My frustration with the automated responses led me to contact their customer service, hoping to finally speak with a real person.
Customer: I need to talk to someone about order number 105081183. It's been over a month, the package is lost, and I still don't have my $246 refund. Your bots are useless.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the delay. Let me look up your order. I see the tracking has not been updated.
Customer: I know it hasn't! It’s been stuck since February. I'm done waiting. I don't want the glasses anymore, I want my money back. I never had this problem with other sites.
CS Rep: You are completely right to be upset. This is an unacceptable situation. I am bypassing the system and initiating a full refund for you immediately. You will see it back in your account within 7-10 business days.
